When there was the opportunity to do a shoot with @latterdaybride I was sold immediately. It was something that I have always wanted to do and I have loved following along for so so many reasons! When they announced that the dress was the Maisie, I had to participate. I was able to coordinate a beautiful model, and amazing florals for this shoot! The very best part was that it was in a studio! If you are ever considering doing your Bridals in a Studio, you should absolutely do it!
If you have a studio session in mind or planned, here are some key things to know!
**Book more than one hour!
This gives you the time that you need to change in and out of your dress, move around different aspects in the studio to get different looks, and also gives you time to truly be in the moment with your special someone!
**Schedule at the right time of day!
Do some research about the studio and what time of day gives the best natural light! I was shocked to attend a studio at a normal shooting time and see that the windows were opposite of the sun and that made for a challenge when shooting. They still turned out beautiful, but if you have a certain look in mind for your photos, do your research!
This may seem like a given, but it can make a huge difference with getting into the studio! You paid for your time there, and you have a right to use up every last minute!
**Be sure to read the rules and regulations carefully!
Make sure you understand the rules of the studio and what is expected of you! Not only is it kind and courteous to the owner of the studio but it helps you to have the best idea of what it looks like to rent there.
Anyways, here are some of the amazing shots that we got of this fun styled shoot! Right below is a list of every vendor I worked with! If you have interest in working with one of them, don't hesitate to reach out or click the link to their contact info!
